Dear Resident,

As an active resident of Hobsons Bay who has worked, lived and represented the city, I am standing for re-election to represent Altona, Altona North, Altona Meadows, Brooklyn and Seaholme at the 2012 Local Government elections to be held October 2012.

As someone who has been a resident for 3 decades and an active member of the community, the issues surrounding our local area are especially relevant and important to me. It is with my community’s wellbeing in mind that I seek to continue to be a representative and offer a voice to our community. Over the past four years as a local elected Councillor, I have endeavored to serve the people of Hobsons Bay by acknowledging the issues and importantly finding resolutions.

Although there has been a lot of positive change in Hobsons Bay, there is still more that needs to be done. To continue as your elected community representative would allow me the opportunity to enact my vision of making this a better place for us all to live and work.

I have always offered an open, consultative, and hard working approach seeking to involve residents in all major Council decisions. It is through this approach that I would like to extend the opportunity for you, the residents, to provide feedback about the issues in the area that matter most to you. I strongly believe that by working together we can continue to make positive changes in the City of Hobsons Bay, particularly for Altona , Altona North, Altona Meadows, Brooklyn and Seaholme.
